Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!
If you have traveled many self inflicted valleys as I have, you may be thinking, "yeah, but....". The terrible, no good, very bad devil loves to convince us that we are unworthy and shamed. He would love nothing more than to convince you that there is no way in - well, the devil's stomping ground - that God could possibly love you. You are broken, dirty, and used up. It would be impossible for God to love you, let alone use you for His glory.
The devil is a rotten and stinky liar. He wants you to believe his hate filled lies so that you pull away from your Redeemer and live in pit after pit never trusting or living in freedom. He is nothing but an awful and gross deceiver. There is no truth in his words that he pokes you with on a sometimes daily basis.
From here on out, we are speaking God's truth over our lives and into our hearts.
Jesus loves us unconditionally, on purpose, without hesitation, in spite of, and forever and ever.
Be purposeful this week in memorizing this portion of Scripture. Allow it to permeate the deepest parts of your heart. Repeat it over and over until you cannot help but believe it.
You are loved in a mighty and powerful way. Believe it, sweet friend, and go forward in truth and joy.
